Again, welcome! - Mcmatter (talk|contrib) 14:45, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Servicing (Mortgage) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not a dictionary.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —KuyaBriBriTalk 14:57, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from MCAP (company). When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. - Mcmatter (talk|contrib) 15:07, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Mortgage brokerage

[edit]

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Mortgage brokerage. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Mortgage broker. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Mortgage broker - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. - Mcmatter (talk|contrib) 18:19, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New articles

[edit]

Please stop creating articles with nothing more then definitions in them when there are existing articles to cover these subjects if it is a minor name difference a redirect will do. If you wish to add definitions please feel free to add to http://www.wikitionary.org. Thank you - Mcmatter (talk|contrib) 18:23, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/JohnDoe01 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. - Mcmatter (talk|contrib) 16:19, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to MCAP (company). While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. WuhWuzDat 00:14, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article MCAP (company), you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. WuhWuzDat 21:35, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your addition to MCAP (company) has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Your editing of this article keeps reverting to a VERY close paraphrasing of this page. Please feel free to include this information, but rephrase it ENTIRELY in your own words. WuhWuzDat 21:39, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop assuming ownership of articles such as MCAP (company). Doing so may lead to disruptive behavior such as edit wars and is a violation of policy, which may lead to your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. WuhWuzDat 21:40, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
