Not sure why you asked a random IP account (I found your question by looking at recent changes) but I'll try to answer the question you asked here. The standard for Wikipedia articles is not just existence, but "notability" as defined by Wikipedia. Per the more specific guidelines for musicians, you should demonstrate that the musician Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent of the musician or ensemble itself if the musician does not meet any of the other criteria on the page. The sources you cited might show that the information is correct, but they do not show that the musician meets Wikipedia's standards for notability. Also, just because the band has its own article does not mean that each individual member should have its own article.

For future reference, the resources linked on your talk page (Teahouse, AfC help desk) are better places to ask questions. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 05:03, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, no that doesnt make any sense to me. The declination says citing to interviews of the musician is not a valid source (even if done within an accurate source), yet the band's published page has citations to the other musician's interviews and that appears to have been accepted as a credible source SDsharkie (talk) 05:16, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Interviews can generally be used in Wikipedia articles, but they do not help to demonstrate notability as they are primary sources. To demonstrate notability, you need a few reliable sources that are removed from the subject and discuss her in-depth. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 05:32, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay got it. That makes more sense. Thank you for clarifying SDsharkie (talk) 06:52, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
