I realise this is pretty silly, but it's just meant to be a light-hearted way to say "please continue to contribute, just not that way :)." I'm occaisionally off-line for a few days at a time, so if this is to be deleted, please userify to my userspace rather than nixing it. --SB_Johnny|talk|books 17:57, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

a note, not from the original; but, from a different scribbler

Wherever wikipedia participates in handicappism, other racism, classism, other oppression, et al, there need to be better avenues to stop it. Please trust me that I've tried many different official routes, so if you would suggest any, I've likely tried it.

We do need to establish some websites where offensive sandwiches, even sandwitches, sandwhiches, could be distributed, even offensive ones, like soylent green, soylent yellow, @ least in discussion-form, as per the metaphor.

We do need wikisoftware websites where virtually anything could be debated.

On "Sixty Minutes" I just learned the phrase "bum-hunting". That does sound like "soylent yellow".

"wikipedia is like the guy who goes to the keg party and doesn't drink"

I found this analogy hilarious.--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 11:24, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

POV

[edit]

This essay assumes one wouldn't hand out such sandwiches at said PETA convention, merely to See the Fireworks. That's like saying the given "you" wouldn't shoot someone just because they didn't like them, when that, in fact, happens with disturbing regularity in the Real World. If this is a site of the people, it might help to realize that those people are, in general, evil. --Chr.K. 09:15, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

who wouldn't...

[edit]

..hand out panda sandwiches at a PETA convention? Epic lulz when they find them delicious and ask what's in these. --frotht 04:22, 30 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How in the world do we not have an artist's rendering of a panda sandwich here? Joe (talk) 23:44, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
