I am sorry to say this but there has been too many POV and sentence formation issues with the article. I have listed them at Talk:Periyar E. V. Ramasamy. I hope you had not missed the controversial subject tagging in the talkpage and POV-balancing in this case is extremely essential-RavichandarMy coffee shop 13:58, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I was quite busy at that time and was able to peer-review only the lead section. And then as far as GA is concerned, since it is a one-man review I did not want to poke my nose unnecessarily. The problem is that the article is about an individual who was a politician and articles about politicians should be written from neutral perspective. The tone of the article while describing incidents appeared a bit one-sided; of course, it is definitely a violation of NPOV if an article describes opponents as "evil", etc.-The EnforcerOffice of the secret service 08:29, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- I've neutralized the article is a fair deal. Still, however, I feel that a second peer-review is necessary before the article could move to a next stage.-The EnforcerOffice of the secret service 08:31, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Maruti Esteems as Taxis
I know you are a resident of Bengaluru [your username is the railway code for City Rlwy Stn and Yeshwantpur], even I am, but my point is you removed Maruti Esteem from taxis in Transport in India. You may not know this, but I have lived in Mumbai, for a VERY long time, and I know Esteems are used as Cabs there, Meru, yes Meru, the BIAL taxi USES ONLY esteems in Mumbai and so do the Fullora Gold cabs.
To prove my point, here are two links to help you out....

The Esteem were replaced by the DZire in March 2008 [My board exams were going on, when I saw the first ad]. Meru in Mumbai started a year before that.

Transport in India
I thought you were a good editor...... I would have expected you to add a citation or more in the article, but you went one step higher and added a unsourced template..... Cool....... --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 14:42, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, I've been searching for sources on Google myself, but can't seem to find much results. I doubt I'll be an editor for much longer though, mainly because of the Tata Nano argument and all. [You can find out on my talk page, the few sections before yours]... Regards...--Rsrikanth05 (talk) 12:09, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Quick ref : Transport in India.. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 17:41, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- Please use in Transport in India. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 12:38, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- All I mentioned was to name each reference in the article like I have done. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 13:21, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Have a look at Road signs in India... I'll add pics later this week or the next. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 12:02, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
Thanks a lot. I've got a bunch of images to upload plus I'm travelling next week as well, so I can get more images.
Also, I suggest creating a template for Transport in India, to link to articles like Road signs, rail transport, road networks, et all. Basically India in general, no State/city matter.

Bengaluru
Hi SBC-YPR, thanks for taking time in reviewing links I added to bengaluru (iteractive map & classified links) which in my view can be of good help to a new comer or even some old resident... ad i dont think that they are commercial in nature (as both are free of cost & ads free services). Please advise if i m missing soemthing... RegardsAmit Амит अमित ਅਮਿਤ (talk) (talk) 08:47, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
- thanks for your response but I did not find anything which goes against it. Rather i found that map link is to be acceptable "for consideration" under 3.2.2 "A well-chosen link to a directory of websites or organizations" but I am not here to argue..So i am quiting it now and here and leave it up to you to add the link, if you think it will help visitor then put the map link.. Have a nice day!!Amit Амит अमित ਅਮਿਤ (talk) (talk) 15:17, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Dear SBC-YPR. i do not mean to hurt your regional state sentiments. But Indian states to my knowledge do not have official flags. While the emblem is fine as it represents your state government, the flag is not. It belongs to the erstwhile Mysore Kingdom and hence cannot be used on this page - regardless of how often the flag is used to indicate regional culture and identity. Please show that the flag is official before returning it. Tigerassault (talk) 15:36, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
- okies. I'll look for a Central gov ref.
as for the talk page, i was waitng for 100 ;)--Rsrikanth05 (talk) 18:03, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- Just a note, NHAI's map shows Bengaluru as is and not as Bangalore. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 13:29, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Using coord may not be feasible for this as coord template needs both latitude and longitude. To give an idea of the region covered by this district, the northernmost and southernmost latitudes are used (and similarly longitudes). So, they are not representing two extreme points, but rather representing 'extreme lats and longs'. Is there another template to take care of this? could not find out one.--GDibyendu (talk) 15:22, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- The infobox has coord of the headquarters, not the central area. The detail can be removed, but it is referenced from official website; also there is no separate supporting article where this detail is listed.--GDibyendu (talk) 16:26, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- That geographical coordinates project page is about how to mark it in map. For now, I am keeping the limits, lets discuss it later when other suggestions are implemented. Thanks, --GDibyendu (talk) 20:12, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Vodafone ads...good one. lol.--Rsrikanth05 (talk) 15:20, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
I edited the domestic section of BIAL. Earlier it said Kingfisher Airlines (operated by Kingfisher Red), which I reversed, because Red is a subsidary, and how can a subsidary operate its own parent company? However Jasepl keeps reverting this edit. I just want to know your opinion about this. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 16:46, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Re: Request for mentorship
First, I think you mistaken GAN for GAR (as shown in your topic header). So I took a look at your reviews and found it to be very extensive. The only outstandin issues that are not addressed are range coordinates, which I think the coord template can't do. So I think it's ready to declare it as GA. OhanaUnitedTalk page 19:10, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
- They look fine to me. OhanaUnitedTalk page 15:12, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Mumbai
Since we have a massive GAN backlog, it may take atleast 3-4 months for the article to be reviewed. It's better to directly try at FAC. Anyway, someone has tagged it as an A-class article, which is higher than a GA rating. KensplanetTC 12:24, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Many thanks for you good wishes. I am happy that the article is now a good article. Cheers. - Chandan Guha (talk) 08:53, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
Unsourced sentences in Transport in India
I would suggest that we remove these as it seems to be difficult to find refs for them. What do you think?--GDibyendu (talk) 16:38, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
GA review of Criminal Law (Temporary Provisions) Act (Singapore)
Your review looks excellent to me. The only additional thing I dug up was that some of the web cites don't have access dates, which we require for tracking down archived versions of the pages if the links go dead at some point in the future (see this for the links). The focus seems ok to me - the article stays on-topic fairly well. However, I think your points about coverage (especially with regard to the lack of critical commentary in many of the sections) are important; personally I'd like to see less in-depth description of the act (such as those long numbered and bullet-pointed lists, which should be written as prose if possible) and more on its actual application and third-party reactions to it. The article links to the act itself, so there's really no need to reproduce it in such detail. This may involve a significant rewrite and more research, so whether it can be addressed in the time given to a GA hold is your decision. You're spot on about the images too - most of them could be removed. Hope this helps, and thank you once again for your sterling work. All the best, EyeSerenetalk 09:10, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Thank you...
Thak you VERY, VERY, VERY MUCH for the barnstar. It feels great when someone finds your contribution valuable. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 14:53, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
