Thanks for your note. With respect to using the name "Indian," there has been a great deal of discussion around Wikipedia about this. It is clear that many First Nations people prefer to be called "Indians." However, it is also clear that most prefer to be called by their own Nation or band. After much discussion, that is what we reached consensus to do in the Squamish article. The people call themselves the "Squamish Nation" and that is what we call them in the article.
