Article help?

Hello. It's been a while since we last spoke (when I was Burai at the time) but I'm wondering if you can help me with this article I made a week ago. It's on a disease called pansteatitis and I first heard it from a documentary I watched (which was NatureShock: The Crocs That Turned To Rubber). I didn't write much in the article as I only know a little bit about the disease. YumeChaser

Yes seriously User: YumeChaser has problems. Just the other day I spoke to him/her about articles Shinee and TVXQ, that the Hangul (샤이니) and Hanja (東方神起) names at the top of each Musical Artist Infobox doesn't belong there if the Korean Name Infobox is already in place on the article. But User: YumeChaser said "he can post anything he wants because he follows the Manual Style." When I read the Manual Style it never said anything about Hangul names belonging in the Musical Artist Infoboxs, but User: YumeChaser said "it's a common practice". If its a common practice how comes every Korean article on Wikipedia doesn't have Hangul names at the top of each main infobox. Hiyappu's name and WP:COMMONSENSE

It's not necessarily obvious what name is considered "official" - these naming schemes don't always follow logic. Compare "Hassboh"/"Hasubrero" and "Zorua"/"Zoroark". With the way they're advertising these monkeys, I'm sure we'll see Hiyappu's name spelled out soon, though. AdamantBMage (talk) 08:33, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

Advice

If I may seek your advice, I find myself in a bit of a conundrumhere. My argument is essentially this: the only two sources that have been found (one of which was discovered during AfD) that cover the subject with any depth are these:1 2. Both of these sources are not mainstream news sources and are quite selective in the type of views they publish, and do not have any reputation for reliability. Two of the keep recommendations completely missed the point regarding the quality of sources available. Another keep recommendation was a random personal attack, and another was a weak argument for an exception to the guidelines. Deletion review requires that I discuss beforehand this with the person who performed the closure, but in this case it was a non-admin, so I'm not sure that would have any benefit. How do I proceed? Vandal

Hi -- concerning the vandal you're reporting at AIV, isn't it a waste of time to report IP addresses after the editor has dropped them? Unless the editor has a very special setup, I don't think he'll be able to go back to a specific address once he's switched to another. Or am I missing something?
