Speedy deletion of "Ryan 429"

[edit]

A page you created, Ryan 429, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Hello Ryan. Thank you for joining Wikipedia. I think you accidentally created a page about yourself in the main encyclopaedia when you might only have wanted to tell fellow Wikipedia editors a little bit about yourself. So it had to be deleted - pages in the main encyclopaedia about people are for important or well-known people in their field, not generally for school children! If you want to add some information about yourself to User:Ryan 492 please do so - but PLEASE don't tell us how old you are, when your birthday is or where you live, because you shouldn't really be giving out that sort of information about yourself on the internet. Most of the people who use, read and edit Wikipedia are probably nice but you don't want to take chances, do you? If you've got any questions, feel free to ask me (click on the "talk" that follows my name and ask your question on my talk page) or follow the instructions someone left you at the top of the page. Best wishes, BencherliteTalk 21:40, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
