Information icon Hello, I'm Fakescientist8000. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Draft:Alexander King, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. IMDb is not a reliable source. See WP:IMDB. Cheers, atque supra! Fakescientist8000 00:04, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Horror-noir moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Horror-noir, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hitro talk 06:49, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The draft has undergone constructive revision. Consider transferring Draft:Horror-noir to the actual article after checking this link. Thanks! Russell7890 (talk) 17:49, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Horror-noir

[edit]

Hello Russell7890,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Horror-noir for deletion in response to your request.

If you didn't intend to make such a request and don't want the article to be deleted, you can edit the page and remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

The draft has underwent a constructive, well-improved revision. Please take a look and review it and consider it moving to article space officially. Russell7890 (talk) 00:14, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The reworked version links to here: Draft:Horror-noir Russell7890 (talk) 00:19, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I published the page today. I believe it is notable. The page can be improved. Some of the crime horror films listed, even with a source, are not, in my view, noir horror films, but if a source says so, who am I. to judge? As for Religious horror, below, however, I think adding a section to Supernatural horror film is, for the moment, better. But again, if you have sources, it's up to you. Best, -My, oh my! Thank you so much. I appreciate this a lot. Russell7890 (talk) 02:14, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I think the religious horror film draft is unnecessary considering that it’s also past of supernatural horror, but thanks for letting me know Russell7890 (talk) 02:17, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

About Blade

[edit]

Hello there. I saw you made a Draft:Blade (2025 upcoming film) and that it was accepted for the mainspace. However, we already have a draft article located at Draft:Blade (2025 film). As per Wikipedia policies such as WP:NFF and WP:CONTENTFORK, no filming has occurred and the page you created was almost a duplicate of the content at the preceding draft. With no filming yet, neither should be in the main article space. As such, I have redirected it to Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase Five#Blade (2025) until the draftspace article is ready when filming begins. Thank your for your understanding and your willingness to contribute! I encourage you review these policies I mentioned before continuing with article creation and to double check what content is already out there. Cheers, and enjoy your time here! Trailblazer101 (talk) 15:45, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I just noticed that. I had no idea that there was already a draft created for the film until this message. Nevertheless, as soon as the film takes place, will the article that was accepted to be moved to the space be used or will it have to have another submission of a draft again, which is the Draft: Blade (2025 film)? Russell7890 (talk) 15:53, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No worries! Draft:Blade (2025 film) will be the article moved once filming begins (strikes permitted) as it has the basis of more editing history in it. You are free to contribute to that draft anytime. Draft:Blade (2025 upcoming film) currently points to the main draft, and will follow it as the main one. Trailblazer101 (talk) 16:09, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for letting me know. I didn't realize that a draft with the same topic and title already existed. Usually, Wikipedia would have let users know and be informed about this before writing any drafts, and it would give you a link to the existing article or draft space about having the same title and content, but in this one, it didn't. Other than that, I appreciate the immediate notice and message. Have a good one! Russell7890 (talk) 16:15, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, just an fyi, I think most of your replies on this page never got read by the person you were trying to talk to, because you didn't use a ping. When you write a reply to an AfC message like the one from Paper9oll above, we never see it unless we specifically watchlist your talk page! You can use any of the variations of Template:Ping, or when you use Discussion Tools (the editor that opens up when you click "reply" on a message) you can type @ and then the person's username. I'll trigger one for you so you can see what happens: @Russell7890. -- asilvering (talk) 07:28, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
