170 Russell

[edit]

I redirected 170 Russell to Total House, because almost none of the content at 170 Russell had anything to do with the business of that name, but was rather the history of the basement theatre of Total House.

170 Russell started in 1980. It has nothing to do with the businesses that occupied it before that apart from occupying the same physical space. It's one thing to mention in passing that it occupies the same space as more notable historical venues - it's quite another to pretend without any basis whatsoever that they're linked, and that the notability of the historical venues supports the notability of the current one.

In order to be notable for an article, we would need significant, reliable sources that are actually about 170 Russell and not about Total House. That's just not even close to having been the case in any draft that's been provided yet. The Drover's Wife (talk) 12:07, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sources

[edit]

Please ensure that your sources are not listed as unreliable. Please consult the official list here. Wrestlezone for example is unreliable. Wrestling Culture isn't listed at all and should really be avoided until reviewed. It is better to stick to the sources listed. Addicted4517 (talk) 08:25, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Achilles (producer-dj) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Achilles (producer-dj), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
