New page patrolling
Hi, you added a nonsense tag to an article, when it was written in Japanese. There is a {{db-notenglish}} tag for use on foreign language articles on the English language wikipedia. Happr patrolling! Mjroots (talk) 11:34, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Copyvio of Capitol University Medical City
Howdy, you just restored a copyright violation to Capitol University Medical City. Can you please restore the speedy deletion tag? JackSchmidt (talk) 06:40, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
No prob. =) Nabudis Shadow (talk) 06:42, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. BTW it is generally ok (and even encouraged) to remove the infringing stuff. The speedy delete patrols just check the previous revision to confirm the copyvio. This one was bizarre, because it even copied the quotes out of the article. I spent 5 minutes categorizing and wikilinking it, before I realized that not only were the quotes from the webpage, but so were all the paragraphs! JackSchmidt (talk) 06:47, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Hi, sorry to partially contradict what User:Mjroots said above, but the {{db-notenglish}} tag only applies when the article appears on a foreign language Wikimedia project. Since this article does not appear on the Spanish Wikipedia, it does not qualify for {{db-notenglish}}. However, it is a biography with no claim to notability (most of it is about the subject's relationships with his current and ex-girlfriends). So I plan to speedily delete it as a non-notable biography. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 08:25, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks!
Thanks for the speedy revert [1] of my user page! --Kralizec! (talk) 15:15, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Omnisaur (talk) 07:07, 13 March 2008 (UTC) Oh, my mistake... a late learner.
Kayla
Greetings,
As a native Hebrew speaker, I can assure you that the word Kayla has no meaning in Hebrew. Only Klil (כליל), and its female form Klila (כלילה) bear a meaning which has nothing to do with "full of joy". The source you have provided doesn't claim its Hebrew meaning to be "full of joy" as you cited, but rather "laurel, crown" which is also incorrect.
I have also raised the question at the Reference desk of the Hebrew Wikipedia (he:ויקיפדיה:הכה את המומחה#קיילה) and no one could find any meaning to the word Kayla in any language. We only know it's one of the names of the Beta Israel community, possibly derived from the word "kehila" (קהילה) which means "community".
I suggest you verify the reliability of the sources you cited. Have a lovely day, Lior (talk) 07:08, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
That's fine, I was just trying to clear the articles of needed citations. Some of the translations were obviously incorrect, so I thank you for helping to clear them up. =) Nabudis Shadow (talk) 07:14, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- I share your desire to reduce the number of Template:Facts. I'm just concerned that the sources you've put contradict each other ([2] vs. [3]) and convey no verifiable information to the reader. The minimal requirement from such a source would be to provide the transliteration of Kayla in the respective languages. Lior (talk) 07:59, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- Fair enough. It seems that the only language that it reliably translates into is Greek (Κάιλα). I'll put a note in for other editors for them to provide transliteration if other meanings actually exist. Nabudis Shadow (talk) 08:27, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- Very well. Best, Lior (talk) 09:32, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Good morning Nabudis, please see User talk:Kkarma#Kayla. Perhaps we better hold a proper discussion at Talk:Kayla, as there might be more than a single viewpoint of what Kayla is all about, and my view is not necessarily the best. Cheers, Lior (talk) 07:15, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks
for this edit reverting vandalism on my talk page. Toddst1 (talk) 00:08, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for your advice
Thank you for your advice on warning templates.Fieldmarhshal Miyagi (talk) 11:26, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
I rollback, I give the warning; you rollback, you give the warning
This thing makes me angry ;-) I sometimes give the warning, but if I don't rollback I don't give it for the respect of the rollbacker. If you wanna some links, ask me. Have a nice easter, MOJSKA 666 (msg) 12:35, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:The Veronicas - This Love.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:The Veronicas - This Love.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. NotifyBot (talk) 14:41, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
MOS
If you have a particular MOS issue about the way I merged the single into the article, please let me know what it is so that I can repair it. I reinserted the information, because after the merge, the information needs to be kept.

Check your scripts
I appreciate that fact that you and other folks play the important role of fighting vandalism. However, you should take a couple seconds to look that the last couple of edits to determine if a large scale change to a page is actually vandalism or not. In my case, I was simply reverting an error to my one of my own user pages. I was not logged in because I was in a hurry to fix the page before I had to teach my class. Your request for rollback
After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback can be used to revert vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback may be removed at any time.
If you no longer want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can view this page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Happy editing! —αἰτίας •discussion• 15:56, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
This song has now charted at #11 on the Hot 100. You might want to reconsider your comments in the afd. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 19:29, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
Aww yeah dawg, rolling back vandalism rollbacks
I edited "RORSARCH (??) IS A NUB" out of the article for Democratic Parties. It was immediately rolled back and stung up as vandalism, so I can only assume some kind of script? I dunno. AWESOME SCRIPTS DAWGGG 76.235.182.150 (talk) 01:29, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- Alright, I ain't no master of Wiki what-nots but I believe this URL proves my innocence [[4]]76.235.182.150 (talk) 01:32, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- It appears that your rollback was rolled back by yourself? I dunno. All I want is absolution! 76.235.182.150 (talk) 01:36, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
It was my mistake. You have my apologies. Nabudis Shadow (talk) 01:37, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
Thanks!
Hey, thanks for reverting and reporting vandalism to my user talk page before I even noticed it! I saw a "new comment" notice one second, and it was gone the next! Mononomic (talk) 01:47, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
Huh?
You just reverted a bunch of good faith edits at Mountain Ridge High School (Frostburg, Maryland). Personally, I think my edits made the article much better. In particular, copyediting and organizing the sports in a bulleted list makes the article more organized and encyclopedic. --68.187.12.42 (talk) 02:36, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- You have my apologies, I'm still getting used to Huggle. Nabudis Shadow (talk) 02:42, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

I would like to add some new articles. How can I do this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aparsai (talk • contribs) 12:41, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Aparsai, You can create an article simply by typing the article you wish to create in the search box, and clicking "create this page". You may also find this link helpful. Nabudis Shadow (talk) 01:06, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
