The article Patrick Nielsen has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Sandmen requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Cntras (talk) 10:42, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Rémi Cusin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't establish WP:NOTABILITY

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Milan Derby

[edit]

Is that table really necessary? I haven't seen any like it on other derby pages. It isn't comprehensive, do you plan on expanding it to all seasons? Regards, Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 00:38, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Vaselineeeeeeee:. The table is based on the Istanbul rivalries, and it is used in the pages of the derbies between Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Galatasary respectively. Personally, I believe it represents the actual performances of the clubs within their given leagues, in this case the Serie A. Often titles are used as the prime measure of comparison between clubs, but what it does not depict is whether a club for instance has been placed in the lower part of the table for a substantial amount of seasons, something I find very interesting. Especially, a visualization of the case, since I rarely ever read any of the segments in the articles. I can of course expand the table to the inception of the Serie A or even further back in time if necessary, given the condition it is not deleted afterwards of course. Regards Rune 01:24, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the response. To me, I don't mind the table, but it would be better to complete it to at least 1929-30 when the true Serie A started, if you have time. I cannot speak for others if they will delete it or not, but if they do, they should provide a reason first. I did a large sweep over this past fall to add all the match results for the Milan Derby, Derby della Mole, Derby d'Italia, and many other Italian football derbies. It would be ideal to stay consistent between the Italian football articles, but I know these tables take time to create...so as long as the Milan Derby table could be expanded, it should be alright. I don't know if I'd ever take the time to do the same for the other Italian football derbies though. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 01:37, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Vaselineeeeeeee:. I will expand the table back to the 1929-30 season tomorrow. If I have some free time any coming days I will look into the possibility of doing it for some of the other derbies as well. And I really appreciate the work on the match results, looks really good. 01:59, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for expanding the table. However, how can we do it so we don't need to scroll over? Like this, it looks really crammed. Is it possible to split it into two columns like the match results does and make it collect down instead of sideways when new seasons are added? Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 16:44, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It has been reverted by another user... He does have a point in that it is a little hard to read though.Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 13:52, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
