I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome! You currently appear to be starting an edit war according to the repeated edits you have made on Suffield University. The reasons for your changes are not apparent because you did not provide any edit summary and you did not comment on the talk page. If you have a valid reason for your changes, please document it. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. --Orlady (talk) 21:14, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm glad to learn that you were attempting to motivate article improvement, but if that is your intent, you need to communicate more effectively. Your addition of a proposed deletion template without providing a reason for deleting the article was not an effective way to motivate improvement of the article. The full template is {{subst:prod|reason}}, but you did not fill in the "reason" part of the template, you did not leave an edit summary, and you did not comment on the article talk page. Perhaps you are clairvoyant, but I'm not, and I could not discern a valid reason for the prod template. When I removed the prod template, together with a batch of other unexplained templates, you reverted my edit without explanation. That is typical of the behavior of a vandal, not of a constructive contributor.
As for the comments you made on my talk page about my alleged "intolerance for dissenting opinions" and "other comments made about [my] heavy handed edits," I would suggest that responsible well-intentioned users do not join name-calling campaigns started by vandals who resent having their vandalism reverted.
Finally, please remember to sign your posts on talk pages. (All it requires is four tildes.) --Orlady (talk) 13:12, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for File:All Saints University of Medicine.jpg}

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:All Saints University of Medicine.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page.
