Anna Astvatsaturian Turcotte[edit]

I was fascinated by all the info that you provided about Anna. What I've done was to forward the link to this draft article to a majour editor in Armenian Wikipedia where the interest for her work will be considerable if not truly immense for very obvious reasons. The editor concerned promised that she will process a due translation of the article and publish it in Armenian Wikipedia. I will inform you of the link as soon as it is done. Again many thanks for your efforts. werldwayd (talk) 10:11, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

AfC notification: Draft:Anna Astvatsaturian Turcotte has a new comment[edit]

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Anna Astvatsaturian Turcotte. Thanks! Robert McClenon (talk) 05:24, 17 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A colleague of mine has now published an article about her in Armenian as Աննա Աստվածատուրյան Թյուրքոթ I believe the Armenian language article will create much interest even if the English version does not pass. Many thanks for your efforts as well. werldwayd (talk) 01:12, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your comments. Yes Anna Astvatsaturian Turcotte became a refugee from Azerbaijan to Armenia as a result of the pogroms and after 3 years in Armenia then applied for immigration to the States. But her work is of great interest for the Armenian Karabagh (Artsakh) region and thus the importance of the article about her efforts in Armenian Wikipedia. The article is basically a translation of the draft in English with all the references as well. Here as a gratitude for your own inputs, this video of the region of Artsakh https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qX4b4eyEwI8 for which Anna Astvatsaturian Turcotte worked diligently to safeguard and actively promote in USA and wrote about it in her book. It's well worth your 5 minutes. Again my thanks and best regards werldwayd (talk) 15:16, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
