We need your help testing latest huggle
Hello,
I am sending you this message because you listed yourself on meta:Huggle/Members as a beta tester. We desperately need attention of testers, because since we resolved all release blockers, we are ready to release first official version of huggle 3! Before that happens, it would be nice if you could test it so that we can make sure there are no issues with it. You can download it packaged for your operating system (see Wikipedia:Huggle/Huggle3_Beta) or you can of course build it yourself, see https://github.com/huggle/huggle3-qt-lx for that. Don't forget to use always latest version, there is no auto-update message for beta versions!
Should you find any issue, please report it to wikimedia bugzilla, that is a central place for huggle bugs, where we look at them. That is i mportant, if you find a bug and won't report it, we can't fix it. Thank you for your work on this, if you have any questions, please send me a message on my talk page, I won't be looking for responses here. Thanks, Petrb (talk) 15:20, 10 April 2014 (UTC)

Personal acquaintances
Hello Rsrikanth05, I saw you are interested in the Personal acquaintances tool. I have translated the system into Dutch and English and implemented it in the Dutch, French and Italian Wikipedias. I can help you with expanding this to other Wikipedias. The system is designed in that way that only when three participants who are confirmed by other participants, can expand and use it in other areas of the world, to prevent abuse. When I implemented this system for France, we needed at least three users who have been at a meet-up or conference outside France where they have met at least three other participants who already were confirmed. This made it possible to implement it into France. When you want to implement this system into India, you need to find at least three users who have met at least three participants who already are confirmed in the system. The difficulty at the moment is that most participants live in Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. I assume most users from India haven't met much users from these countries? If that is true, to make it easy to implement it in India, you probably need to have it implemented in the UK. Now the page in the English Wikipedia is created, the next step is to invite users from the UK to participate. Also Wikimania is a place to promote it more and ask users to sign up. I am planning to go to Wikimania, if you go there too I can confirm you there. For now, the step that should be taken is to invite users from the English Wikipedia to participate. Greetings - Romaine (talk) 16:10, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
