Hi

Welcome!

[edit]

Hello Rsnvprasad and welcome to Wikipedia and to the India Education Program! My name is Danger and I am the Online Ambassador for your course. I will be checking on your progress as you begin editing and I am available if you ever need any help. (I am based in the United States and am 10.5 hours behind India Standard Time, so I can help you when your Campus Ambassadors are asleep!) If you need any help, you can leave me a message on my talkpage by clicking here. Again, welcome! Danger (talk) 21:32, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:Filename.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Filename.jpeg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:31, 8 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:Filename.jpeg

[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Filename.jpeg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Danger (talk) 10:27, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Even if you scan an image yourself, it is not yours. You are only the creator of an image if you draw it yourself. (Just like you are not the author of a book that you've scanned.) Does that make sense? Danger (talk) 12:18, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I've removed some of your edits to numerical integration because they don't fit with how Wikipedia articles are written. First, there is no heading at the top of an article. Second, encyclopedias use a formal tone. So we don't write like we're giving advice or use words like "nowadays". If you have any questions about this, let me know.
