Allergic conjunctivitis
[edit]I have temporarily removed your contribution from allergic conjunctivitis. While it is a very good piece of work, I'm afraid that it needs to be adapted for Wikipedia. This means that it should include wikilinks, follow the manual of style (specifically the MOS for medical articles) and use footnotes for references. The previous version is available in the article's page history (click "history" at the top of the page). If you need any further assistance, please let me know. JFW | T@lk 11:11, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the hard work in getting the content footnoted. That is a major improvement. I have now gone ahead and added headings to your work, making some small adaptations per the manual of style. What still needs to be done is the addition of wikilinks (e.g. [[mast cell]]s will give mast cells, a quick link to related articles), and integration of your work with the content already present at the top of the article. If I have the time I will try to help out.
- Footnotes, when referenced more than once, can simply be called by typing <ref name= "Bielory"/> (notice the backslash). This saves trouble.
- We used to have WikiProject "Ophthalmology", but at the moment that project is quiescent. Instead, you may want to join WikiProject "Medicine", where other medical contributors collaborate on articles. JFW | T@lk 06:18, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
