[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to List of breweries in Arizona. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 08:58, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
Territorial Cup Series
[edit]I stand corrected on my edit I made on this page, solid job citing sources that the two schools still acknowledge the series. I just don't understand how something like this can be still considered "official" when a standard pointing system hast been agreed upon by the two universities in five years - and how the creators of the series (state farm) has left it defunct and not updated the official rules. Doesn't seem scholarly to allow this page to still be updated, as if you look at the edits fans from both sides are just adding to the results when their team wins. I dont know if that is relevant or not, i'm open to a hearing out a rebuttal. -wwillcoxson1

I guess I don't see a problem continuing to update the standings based on the last agreed upon rules, which I believe is how the page has been updated. It would be beneficial to break out each year's point breakdown for transparency and so users could judge accuracy—that seems to be biggest deficiency of the page. I don't think it matters at all if it's opposing team fans who update the page when their team scores another victory; after all, who else is motivated to do so? The important thing for the wikipedia community should be accuracy of the edits, not whether or not they were made by a neutral observer. I think it's a shame that State Farm pulled out, but I don't think the T-Cup Series requires a corporate sponsor to live on. rscottjones (talk) 18:36, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
