[edit]Hi RoslinGenetics! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
Please note that it's inappropriate to add the word "keep" to the comments made by other users that you copied from Talk:Scottish Secular Society and pasted into the above-linked AfD discussion (diff page, diff page). I have stricken those within the discussion, because they are not valid !votes performed by those actual users. Please refrain from doing this in the future. Thank you in advance for your consideration regarding this matter. Northamerica1000(talk) 21:14, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
- User:Northamerica1000 Many thanks for the feedback as a new user - mea culpa. I will be making comment to the same effect on the deletion page to explain my actions. I originally had mentioned that I had copied and pasted these from the quick delete tread of the same page subsequently edited out by an othere user, I hadn't realized that the keep was an actual vote. I will contact the users to advise them of their formatting error

Your good-faith attempt to give a voice to those editors was then muddied when I removed your quotation notes thinking they were formatting errors. Much of the blame for the subsequent misunderstanding should be attributed to me! Your response to NA1000 was calm and friendly nonetheless. That's exactly the sort of thing the community loves to see from new editors. Keep up the great work! Stalwart111 00:00, 25 October 2013 (UTC) |
Help us improve wikimeets by filling in the UK Wikimeet survey!
[edit]Hello! I'm running a survey to identify the best way to notify Wikimedians about upcoming UK wikimeets (informal, in-person social meetings of Wikimedians), and to see if we can improve UK wikimeets to make them accessible and attractive to more editors and readers. All questions are optional, and it will take about 10 minutes to complete. Please fill it in at:
