Draft articles

[edit]

Hi, if you're working on an article to be included in the encyclopedia the best way to do this in is on a user sub-page. Click on User:Rosepuntil/Jason Shawn Alexander and cut-and-paste to there. Your user talkpage is the place where other editors leave messages for you. I've added a colon before the categories, so your talkpage doesn't show up in the article directories. Re: Requests for feedback for Jason Shawn Alexander

[edit]

Per your request here, I have reviewed and commented on the article. The comments are there, but I wanted to also drop a note here considering part of the review. Regarding images, the images of his painting have been tagged as lacking permission. They appear to be copyright violations. While it's nice to have work from the artist in their article, if the work has not been freely licensed by them, it puts a great risk on them, as the current licensing risks having his work reproduced with no payment to him. Considering the value of his paintings, it is wholly unlikely he would be willing to drop the copyright on his work. If you have any questions about this or need any help, by all means drop a line on my talk page. Jennavecia (Talk) 15:46, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your feedback. Jason and I discussed the use of the pictures and we decided to remove them. Copyright is always in the ownership of the creator unless contractually released according to the US Copyright Act of 1976. Rosepuntil (talk) 14:26, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
