Following up the footprints of Punjabi origin stars another name that has emerged on the horizon of the film industry is of Rose JK kaur (Jatinder kaur) known as Rose in her admirers. Her name has been accepted as a best supporting actress in the films by the audience in the last few years. She had worked in Hindi and Punjabi films mostly as the role of a mother. Rose shot to limelight after her powerful performance in the TV serial Agg de Kaleeray. After that she did not look back and worked in many Hindi and Punjabi films they are Ajj de Ranjhey, Power cut, Sir Phirey, Yaaran naal Baharan, Yamley Jatt Yamley, and Sajjan .The lady with a god gifted beautiful face and an adorable outlooks is gaining prominence in the film industry scenario and carved a niche for herself by her dedicated clear-headed acting technique s. Her striking features resemble with famous film stars of the old time Sadhna and Madhubala. Her friends compare her features with late Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
Rose JK belongs to village Neelon Khurd in Ludhiana now settled at Jalandhar and her grandfather late Dr Pritam Singh has been a personal physician of Maharaja Yadvinder Singh of Patiala. She had completed her graduation from Govt College of women Ludhiana and had been inter university level hockey player during college days. Speaking about her future plans to babushahi,com Rose said she is waiting for historical roles like Rani Jindan, Mata Gujri ji or any other powerful character. She acknowledges Sadhna and Meena kumari as her ideals. Talking about her family she said her husband and family are very supportive which I never expected now I regret that why did I not start earlier. But still I am happy with whatever I am offered added Rose JK.
