Welcome Rooveaouravevo!
I'm Sm8900, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

If you need further help, you can: | or you can: | or even: |
Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}}

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Sincerely, Sm8900 (talk) 04:17, 12 April 2022 (UTC) (Leave me a message)
[edit]Hello. Seems like you well versed in the subject, but, i see you are a new editor on the English Wikipedia, so let me briefly explain how it works here: You make a edit and if that edit contradicts the previous version of the article and runs into disagreements: you have to find a consensus in Talk of page. Therefore: please go to the talk page of article and reach a consensus with other editors who work on this page. Reliable sources are needed that list these people as Chinese-Australians. Without reliable sources and discussions, we can only indicate those who are indisputably "Chinese-Australian": either by descent from both parents or by self-determination. With respect TyronMcLannister (talk) 18:11, 15 April 2022 (UTC)
sorry but you are wrong the sources are already clearly indicated and other wikipages like Cornish Australians and German Australians contain australians of mixed ancestry as well.
Warning
[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Chinese Australians. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. TyronMcLannister (talk) 23:55, 15 April 2022 (UTC)
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. TyronMcLannister (talk) 12:58, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
Signing your posts
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. Nil Einne (talk) 12:04, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
