image policy
I believe the image policy you mentioned in the Village Pump was the one about screenshots of TV shows and movies being limited to one per article.Michael Dorosh 17:25, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, it was the one about articles getting polluted with images and not enough text content. Roguegeek 19:37, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
PanoTools Group Page
Please stop being a 'Wiki Bully' and trying to control every panorama page on the Wikipedia. Feel free to create a PanoToolsNG Group page and edit it all you want. I just started working on the 'PanoTools Group' page and with over 3 years of history to document, this page will be very active, I'm sure. John
- Can you please explain what you mean instead of just accusing people of things? All I did was suggest to merge the article you created into a different article. As an editor, I can make those kind of suggestions. Oh, and read up on how to sign your comments correctly. Roguegeek (talk) 22:15, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
PanoTools
Just for your information: User_talk:24.17.56.230 is the same as User_talk:John Spikowski and he split the PanoTools Community 3 months ago leaving him and the rest (>900 people) and every now and then he deletes the links from the article to the new website, request the deletion of our forums, etc... --Wuz 13:59, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
- Interesting. Roguegeek 16:25, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
Apparently, he also thinks we're the same person; clever, as we used to work together, and are about the same height, but we're different signs (I'm a Leo) and I'm much smarter, whereas Rich rides a motorcyle and doesn't give me enough love anymore. --RogerHoward
- You forgot I'm thinner and sexier. Roguegeek 16:26, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
The NG spliter group stole the PanoTools member list, wiki, and beta list. Thomas (NG tech) continues to harass and modify PanoTools resources. (The real story) -John
Well, whatever is going on, policy is policy. You can't just delete something because you don't like it or want to see it, especially if it holds value to the article. Roguegeek 20:34, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
Stop redirecting the Panotools group page. There is a link to Panorama Tools (Software) and performs the same function without bypassing an important page for the panorama community. User:John Spikowski
I would, but you are not doing this within the policies set by Wikipedia. I'm only going to rv one more time (as mutliple reverts are also considered vandalism) and am hoping you can contribute constructively and within Wikipedia policies for editting. If not, I am requesting that you should be given a temporary block. The history of that article along with related articles shows you have performed pretty clear violations. PanoTools Page Chages
Stop changing the PanoTools page. This page IS about the PanoTools group and refers to the Panorama Tools software. We can do this forever or till the Wikipedia gets fed up with your abuse and removes all PanoTools/Panorama Tools content from their site. If you want to create your own version of the facts, try editing a fantasy page somewhere else is on the wiki.
John
Don't play the victim now. The history shows all. It doesn't matter anyway because you wont have to explain it to me. Roguegeek 08:50, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
Edit war
I understand your frustration with John Spikowski but edit warring is not the way to resolve the dispute. Please take it to dispute resolution. Guy 12:01, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
PanoTools Group 3RR
Rich Niewiroski Jr., You have broken the the three change run on the 'PanoTools Group' page and have reported to a Wikipedia sysop for resolve. You continue to abuse the editing rules and act as a 'Bully' in all panorama pages. I hope you are permantly ban from the Wikipedia. -John Spikowski
Umm, ok. I think you need to read over WP:3RR for clarification. I'm making changes and offering suggestion. Haven't made a revert yet to PanoTools Group article. Roguegeek (talk) 23:03, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
Also keep in mind a revert is NOT just an edit you don't agree with. I added content and expanded functionality. I also added important tags you, as an editor, should have added when you created the article. Roguegeek (talk) 23:12, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
Rich,
I appreciate your attempts to act as a mediator but your wasting your time with these people. This is the first time in over a month that Thomas or Roger has made any attempt to communicate. I have sent them multiple e-mails trying to find some middle ground and it's their way or no way. Maybe you will have better luck. Sorry for the run-in we had as I'm constantly getting ganged up on. I can see after re-reading your posts that you were trying to be fair to all parties. The NG group's only asset is the mailing list. (another story) I have dedicated my free time for over 3 1/2 years providing the PanoTools group the facilities needed to create a a great wiki and knowledge base in mailing list posts. The PanoTools site aggragtes content from many panorama sources to give the visitors a single point of access to these resources. I'm not going the let someone like Thomas screw this up for everyone. I also manage the ScriptBasic (www.scriptbasic.org) open source project which I have been negelecting the last few months. (www.scriptbasic.org)

- As you may have noticed this is John's usual pattern from sweet talking to going insane. I am really appreciating your help since you are a neutral person and I spent so much time keeping the information on Wikipedia accurate. Belive me, we tried to talk to him. There is a special forum for John http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Panotools-List/ to talk but he refuced it after 5 emails and he starts provoking people as you have seen it here over and over again. --Wuz 12:17, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
