Welcome!

Hello, Rog L Meckin, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Anger about pregnancy, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard. Thank you.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Minimac (talk) 13:33, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Anger about pregnancy, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Welcome and advice

[edit]

Hello, Rog L Meckin, and welcome to Wikipedia. I've seen several of your recent edits and think you may have some misconceptions about this project. Wikipedia's goal is to be an encyclopedia, and to report on what independent, reliable sources say about a topic. Articles should be neutral and balanced. The article you created appeared to be original research - your personal opinions about a topic. This is not allowed. Please note that when you post on article talk pages, you should also focus on article content, not your personal feelings about the topic of the article. You may find the guidelines at Wikipedia:Talk#How_to_use_article_talk_pages useful. It often takes a little while for a user to learn the rules here; I hope you take the time to read some of the links above so that you can make positive contributions to the encyclopedia. Request reason:

Than k you for your kind message, I have been told to leave by Floatqueen but have no answers about either dog issue or sympathy for my pregnancy view! I am keen to be making positive contributions, have wide range of life experience! ;)

Decline reason:

I am declining your request for unblock because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    • understand what you have been blocked for,
    • will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    • will make useful contributions instead.

Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information. Syrthiss (talk) 14:19, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
