Freund

[edit]

The page you have edited on Freund , has been listed for proposed deletion. I have removed the deletion tag, which stops the process for the moment. A worthy subject for an article, but please add:

  • saying in the first sentence something to dramatically demonstrate notability, like "A.b. is an internationally-known professor of X at, winner of the XYZ prize and 10 honorary doctorates" , or A.B. is a notable authority on Whatever. She is ... (etc) (whatever applies best). Use the exact wording I recommend, including either the word "notable" or "internationally-known" or "nationally-known"; do not use "famous" -- May sound silly, but that is what many people look for here.
  • listing college degrees with university and year -- and putting the university names in double brackets.
  • List academic positions. ditto.
  • listing important awards, important memberships and offices held --a list is more readable than paragraphs
  • Add publisher to the books: The publisher matters for it shows the academic importance.
  • Include a one or two sentence quote from each of the 2 books you listed
  • Was he involved in any major cases as a lawyer? List some.

There is strong prejudice here against even the most obviously important academic, especially if earlier than google. I will help if needed on this one, for it was a particularly absurd nomination. DGG 21:32, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
