Your recent edits to Climate change

I thank you for your additions of the Vostok ice core data to the climate change article. However, I ask that you do refrain from adding un-sourced personal opinions to the article, per WP:NPOV. Also, regarding your statement that CO2 rise is caused by temperature change rather than vice-versa - that applies only if there is a change in solar illumination and only on long timescales. CO2 has a residence time in the atmosphere measured in thousands of years, which is why there is a lag. Antropogenic climate change operates on much shorter timescales and the sudden CO2 rise triggers a temperature increase. Michaelbusch (talk) 22:12, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
