You said their was no proof thatUnknown Creature, The(2005 Movie) was released. Give me your home address and I'll send you a copy of the movie, and once you recieve that copy you will have no choice. So do I send you a DVD or a sepenia?

I did not. I said the film did not have a real release; that is, a theatrical release through normal or arthouse distribution channels, or a DVD release through the retail supply chain. I'm not sure what a subpoena would accomplish, but per WP:NLT, Wikipedia frowns on legal threats to resolve editing disputes. gnfnrf (talk) 19:41, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Roberttheman2008. I suggest you read WP:COI before making any further edits about Films you have worked on. Also and I'm sorry if this sounds harsh; you might want to get a spell checker enabled on your PC, as some of your fellow Wikipedians pay less attention to comments that contain typos. Speedy deletion of The SNES Game Maker

[edit]

A tag has been placed on The SNES Game Maker requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. The SNES Game Maker

[edit]

Your response to the speedy deletion tag of this article seems to indicate that you don't understand why the article is being deleted. The speedy deletion tag is applied when an article has no claim to notability. This does not mean that deletion means the subject does not exist; it simply means that the article does not assert why the subject should be mentioned in an encyclopedia. Many real, non-hoax things are not in Wikipedia, which is as it should be. To successfully contest the deletion, you should add to the article why the subject is notable, and include sources to reliable, third party sources that support your assertions. WP:FIRST explains the policies and methods more clearly. gnfnrf (talk) 15:13, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

From Roberttheman2008: I had perfectly legitimate reasons to repost the articale, Jordan William Johnson had not been contacted or a beta version has not shown up. Repost the original aricale now.

I don't understand what contacting Jordan Williams Johnson has to do with whether or not the article met Wikipedia guidelines. gnfnrf (talk) 20:53, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Unknown Creature, The(2005 movie)

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Unknown Creature, The(2005 movie), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. TNX-Man 19:05, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This page is not to be deleted by orders of the copyright owner, Andrew McGee. Unknown Creature's copyright certificate number is PAu2-984-041. It is NOT a student film.

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Conflict of interest

[edit]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article The SNES Game Maker, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. I am also intending to report this as recommended to the conflict of interest noticeboard, where the users and admin there may decide to take further action. Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors. Thank you. Remember that disrupting Wikipedia to make a point will only get you in more trouble as well as the potential of getting blocked from editing. Thank you, MuZemike (talk) 04:24, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Some points to consider:

[edit]

1) You don't give "specific instructions," giving orders to other members of this project. Don't work that way. Please read WP:CONSENSUS and WP:SPAM. 2) You repeatedly demand that the article be left up to a certain point of time and are contacting "active members" to dredge up information? Please read WP:RS and WP:V. Information about subjects in Wikipedia must come from published, third party sources not connected with the subject. Mr Johnson and fellow team members are not that. 3) You appear to have a conflict of interest. Wikipedia is not here to further your commercial interests or those of your indie developers. Please read WP:COI and WP:AUTO. 4) We knew that Wikipedia's success would bring in people who would try to bribe articles into the 'pedia. Wikipedia is not a webhost or commercial venue. Maybe you should consider actually hiring a publicist. Your proposal is revolting. Please read WP:NOT. 5) Subjects of articles must meet notability requirements. Please read WP:N. That's how you merit an article in an encyclopedia-- by meeting inclusion requirements, not bribery. 6) What's up with this-- "Every single user that deletes one of my articles, I will post their names for everyone to see so that all users and staff will know." Publish whose name, deleter or deleted? For what earthly purpose? 7) My recommendation would be that you become familiar with our policies and guidelines so that you contribute constructively. Constructive editors are always welcome, as opposed to those who attempt to use Wikipedia for the sake of an outside interest. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 13:30, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RFC/USER discussion concerning you (Roberttheman2008)

[edit]

Hello, Roberttheman2008. Please be aware that a request for comments has been filed concerning your conduct on Wikipedia. The RFC entry can be found by your name in this list, and the actual discussion can be found at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Roberttheman2008, where you may want to participate. -- Dlohcierekim 20:48, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RFC response

[edit]

Robert, I'd like to address your response to the Request for Comment, point by point, because I think there are some fundamental facts of Wikipedia that you are confused about. I have responded at length on the talk page of the Request for Comment, which you can see at Wikipedia talk:Requests for comment/Roberttheman2008. gnfnrf (talk) 20:11, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Administration

[edit]

Robert, not sure I understand your item 16 on your RFC response, but I am an admin. Yes, I suppose there are some admins who would have indefinitely blocked you already. In my opinion, you need help understanding our policies and guidelines instead. This is why we have requests for comment, to help straighten out misunderstandings like this. I've asked you to read some of our policies and guidelines. They are the blue links in my earlier post. Basically, the ones that star with "WP." Hope this helps. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 20:54, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

SNES Game Maker might have been a hoax

[edit]

I think the reason why that no one has given me information about the original author of the SNES game maker articale is because it was a hoax. Right now I am heading up a team of 4 people to actually make software similar that to the one described in the articale. I'm going to be posting a classified add as soon as I can get one all good and written out. Roberttheman2008 (talk) 10:41, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
