Howdy, I added a note to the Robert A. Blake page requesting it be deleted beased on you're blanking of it. Don't worry, creating a userpage in the article space is a very common mistake (it is not even the first I have seen in the last half hour). As noted above, you are welcome to write about yourself on your user page, User:Robertablake. Wikipedia is broken up into various name spaces. Article space has no header (like Fish), article talk pages start with "talk" (like Talk:Fish). User space starts with "User"... Likewise for User_talk, Wikipedia, Help, Image, etc. Articles in the main article space have to be about someone famous (in the news regularly, see WP:BIO for standards). I have also attached a welcome message below since it has some useful links. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page (User_talk:TeaDrinker) if I can help with anything.
