[edit]Hello. Please read WP:OVERCITE, which is about why we do not use five sources in a row. Also, are you connected to NEVERCREW in any way, or being paid to edit their page? Your edit history seems to say you are solely interested in their page.ThatMontrealIP (talk)
- Hello. Thank you for the change and the message. I didn't think about the WP:OVERCITE limit of 5 sources in a row. I actually want to create pages about artists that are notable but I don't find on wikipedia and I began with NEVERCREW. I have few other things in progress but not yet made drafts, due to lack of time. It already took me months to have this first one working and quite complete. About the WP:OVERCITE again, is it then possible to add books to the list of sources without using them as quotes? Thanks again. Robert twain (talk) 13:27, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
- Hi and thanks for your contributions. the Nevercrew article is great, it doe snot need much work so I would not worry about that. WP:OVERCITE covers your question about how many sources to use. Basically, everything on Wikipedia has to be sourced, but to do this you only need one to three sources. Anything above that is disruptive to the reader. Putting five sources in a row is never needed. If you really want to use the sources you could put them on another related statement that needs sources. So you are not connected to Nevercrew at all? Thanks.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 17:46, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
- Hello and thank you again for explaining. No, no connection with Nevercrew. I'm an admirer of street art since years, especially about the european scene. Ok for the WP:OVERCITE, got it. So I don't think is essential to add those new sources forcibly. Thank you! Robert twain (talk) 07:41, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
