advice
[edit]I've started working on the article. She is unquestionably notable, as a fellow of the AAAS, but the article needs some major improvements. WP is not a place for academic CVs--we include only a few of the most important papers, as judged by some objective criteria such as citations. In describing her work, we use selected key papers or review papers only, and we do not include vague claims such as "among the first" (nor do we claim the "first" unless there is a reliable 3rd party source that says it.) We don't use words like "innumerable"--un fact, it's better to use no adjectives at all. It is assumed that any scientist goes to many meetings and serves on review boards. We do not call her Dr. except in the introductory sentence. Charlie Rose is not a Reliable source for science. And WP cannot be used as a reference. Fix all this, and resubmit. I've started, but I leave it to you to do the rest. And, if you have any connection with her or her lab, please declare the conflict of interest. If you represent Mt Sinai, see our full information about WP:Conflict of Interst and our Terms of Use, particularly with respect to paid contributions without disclosure, andmake the full disclosure. let me know on my user talk page when ready. Otherwise, to avoidd eletion, I'll simply summarize the basics. DGG ( talk ) 06:01, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
Thank you so much for your helpful comments. As you surmise, I am connected with Mt Sinai/Susan Zolla-Pazner's lab. I work here as a medical editor, but I'm unfamiliar with the requirements of WP. I will work on the article as you suggest and resend it to you when it's ready. Again, thank you for your advice.Rkleegemtsinai (talk) 14:43, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
Hi, DG. Can you review my current changes and let me know if I'm on track--without it being a formal submission of the article? Rkleegemtsinai (talk) 20:50, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
