TBR1
Hi. My group and I have been editting the TBR1 page in wikipedia for our Neuroscience class. We noticed that you had edited it severaal times and would appreciate any advice you have on how to make it better. We are trying to make it a Good Article according to Wikipedia standards. Thanks.

CiteCompletion - authors with multiple first names or surnames
Hi. User:Rjwilmsi/CiteCompletion#Infrequent states Currently such authors are ignored; solutions for including them are under investigation. Would it work to add such authors' names in {{Cite news}} using plain author= ? -- Trevj (talk) 13:03, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
- It's not the parameters used, more that I think more false positives and errors would be introduced if I made the logic less strict on matching author formats. Rjwilmsi 19:53, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
- OK, I see. Thanks very much for the answer. -- Trevj (talk) 21:25, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
Einstein page: Annalen der Physik volume numbers
I don't know why you changed the Annalen der Physik volume numbers for Einstein's early papers as they were correct. See Albert Einstein Collected Papers, volume 2. I have reverted your changes. Esterson (talk) 14:53, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
- If you follow the DOI or bibcode links for those papers you will see the volume numbers from the publisher. For example also see Annalen_der_Physik#cite_note-Einstein_photon-7. Has it happened that you gave the original volume numbers, and the publisher has since redone all the volume numbers? If that's the case I'm not sure what is the correct one to give, old versioning number or new. Rjwilmsi 15:00, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
- Actually it's explained at Annalen der Physik: they have an odd system whereby the volume numbering is restarted on each change of editor, so Einstein has a paper in series 4 volume 17, which is volume 322 overall. Perhaps it would be sensible to add
|series=4
if using the per-editor volume numbering? Rjwilmsi 15:06, 8 December 2011 (UTC)- Thanks for the clarification! But why not leave things as they are, as cited in the A. E. Collected Papers? In my view, there's no real need to go into all the intricacies you have brought forward. If it's good enough for the editors of the Collected Papers it is good enought for Wikipedia. After all, the dates make clear enough the volumes that are being referred to. Esterson (talk) 16:30, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

- P.S. On consideration, by all means add "Series 4" to make the citations precise. Esterson (talk) 16:34, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
Bot scraping incorrect title for citation
The bot has obviously grabbed the title of the citation incorrectly here, probably due to a non-standard usage on the source page. Not sure if you can do anything about it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.77.172.230 (talk) 18:08, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for letting me know. The title must have been picked up from a temporary ad. As that text is no longer in the source I can't really investigate it further. Thanks Rjwilmsi 18:18, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
Why?
Why? Why did you take off the slang terms in the age disparity in relationships article? The King Gemini (talk) 23:22, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- The section was removed by another editor in this edit. Rjwilmsi 07:59, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
Kabul Airport vandalism
Some editor is removing PIA and services from Pakistani cities in this articles passenger section, kindly prevent this, I have informed him via talk page in the past but hes now editing under a new IP, all destinations and airlines in the article are updated according to their respective schedules. 116.71.26.140 (talk) 17:21, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
- Just checked he has also done same in cargo section, seems to have anti-Pakistan bias. 116.71.26.140 (talk) 17:23, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
- For information sake the guy even removed Kabul and Kandahar from PIA destinations list, talk about being biased. 116.71.17.172 (talk) 00:35, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
Question
Do you have a source for this? [1] If so, it may be a good idea to add it. Erikeltic (Talk) 01:13, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
- It's just replicating the information in the infobox. Rjwilmsi 07:57, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
archived AWB fix
Hi,
Re. this bug (just archived), that's one I had reported. At the time, it was more than just the combining acute accent, but seemed to be any letter–combing accent combo that had a precomposed equivalent in Unicode. — kwami (talk) 22:01, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
- The way AWB works I would need a list of the letter–combing characters to fix any others. Rjwilmsi 07:18, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
