Lowercase letters in Norwegian month names

[edit]

Hi, thanks for the edit to HNoMS Olav Tryggvason, but in addition to the correct correction of "1930's" to "1930s" the edit also "fixed" the title of a Norwegian book (used as a source) and replaced the word "april" with "April". In Norwegian we start the names of months with lowercase letters, unless said month is the first word in a sentence, of course. Might want to add that to your system. Replied - foreign language needs to be tagged. Rjwilmsi 06:58, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, and thanks for teaching me about language tagging. Its really helpful. Manxruler 10:39, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Appleton - incorrect spelling correction

[edit]

Please let me know how I can prevent you from changing 'Safty' to 'Safety' within the Michael Appleton article. Safty is correct - it is part of someone's name, namely Mr El-Safty (see the external references). Thanks. --Jameboy 09:59, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Replied - have added an exception. Rjwilmsi 17:02, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Typo fixing on Military simulation

[edit]

Thanks for the recent typo/format cleanup - didn't realise I'd missed so many! EyeSereneTALK 16:23, 4 April 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Thank you so much.

[edit]

DearRjwilmsi, I was being proud of my spellings, as I used to correct Wikipedia articles, until you corrected me in Tayside police article for fixing the typo. Thank you so much and your typo fixing is much appreciated.--Cyril Thomas 20:58, 7 April 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Fictional character template

[edit]

Perhaps you can help me with this:

How would I go about creating a template for a list of fictional characters?

I need to devise a way to do so, because there are some fictional charcters (from films and comics) whose articles I have either modified or created and need to thus find a way to have categories for them. --KnowledgeLord 03:52, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
