Sorry about unkindly reverting you at Rudyard Kipling but there is no need to mention such issues in a biography when the source has such a by-the-way brief mention. At any rate, the place to discuss this further is the article talk. Any case for inclusion of the text should be made in a new section at Talk:Rudyard Kipling.
