Question

[edit]

Mr. A.Hunt,

Thankyou for the message. I wonder why have you not allowed the additions I made into the page? I gave quite credible sources such such key-aero and AirInternational articles on Kowsar fighter program.

Best Regards,

Thanks for your note, that issue is best taken to the article talk page Talk:HESA Kowsar so that other editors can participate in the discussion, as I noted in my edit summary: reverted all - this is a mess of incomprehensible writing, partly sourced to a series of paywalled articles, with much of it not sourced at all. Please start again on the talk page by explaining what the refs cover, what they do not and proposing some text there from what they do support, that can then be turned into comprehensible text, prior to being put into the article. - Ahunt (talk) 17:08, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your response.
That is fine, I will cover the additions in the talk section. I must mention that the entire technical details I added, came from two articles (key-aero and AirInternational), so I could not cite the same source again and again. Articles are written by one of the most experienced author on Iranian aviation with more internationally published articles (few books) on IRIAF then anyone else. Off-course, The articles need subscription but there is no criteria to not include paywall articles as sources.
This page right now is full of misinformation with politically hostile and biased sources using nontechnical language in a mocking manner. As examples, the IRIAF F-5 crash has nothing to do with Kowsar but it is somehow added to the page despite being irrelevant. Even though the engines, the avionics, the radar and subsystems were shown in officially released videos with specifications, labels, company names still some of the sources are giving the "opinions" that makers of the jet will have trouble acquiring those without justifying what is the basis of their opinion.
But anyhow, like you said I will justify the additions on talk page.

You said: so I could not cite the same source again and again. Actually that is exactly what we do, as otherwise it leaves many paragraphs unsourced. I can show you how to use the same source multiple times. If you want you can take the additions you made from the page history and copy them onto the talk page, put in all the sourcing, where each paragraph came from (yes, paywalled sources are okay, but you may need to relay what they say if asked) and then I will help you fix up the English so that it is comprehensible. - Ahunt (talk) 17:41, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the offered help with English. That is something I will really appreciate.
This is a good solution I guess. I will post the additions on talk page with proper citations. When the editors have verified the information and source itself then they can add it to the main article as I am new to making Wiki edits.

Just so you know, you can retrieve your edits here, so you won't have to re-type anything. - Ahunt (talk) 18:54, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Mr. Ahunt,
Hope you are ok, I have added a reconstructed design section to the "talk" with references, pictures (with captions) and evidences of statements. The Iranian official statements, state media reports and the commentary by independent aviation sources are separately labelled with references to gather up all the information at one place. Please let me know if anything needs to be modified.
After the design section we can move to other sections to give the article more professional appearance.

Okay, let's take it up over there on the article talk page. - Ahunt (talk) 20:22, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
