Jaques of London

[edit]

I saw your edit comment at Jaques of London. I think the article used to have a lot more in it but it was removed several months ago. Check the file history. Bubba73 (You talkin' to me?), 23:58, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, thanks, I'm still a new Wikipedian, though I have contributed over many years; I am not a gardener... I am a contributor where I have knowledge and facts. I was just looking at the more in-depth content for Jaques that you have noted, that was summarily removed by others. I need to investigate further. The more in-depth content for Jaques really needs to be re-established. Jaques is a very prominent game publisher, and is still independent today after over 200 years. Thanks for connecting with me. I looked back, and most of it was removed as being a copyright violation. If it came from some other source and used without permission, it must be taken out. The article needs a lot more details. I know a little about the chess sets but that is all. Bubba73 (You talkin' to me?), 00:30, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

new articles

[edit]

see Dave Lockwood (tiddlywinks) and Larry Kahn (tiddlywinks) they may interest you! Spike 'em (talk) 21:49, 3 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The above were done by someone else, but I have started User:Spike 'em/sandbox/Patrick Barrie to get a bit of UK representation, so please feel free to add to it or let me know if you have any links that may be used as sources. Also, in case you missed it, the front page featured the rivalry on Did You Know recently. Spike 'em (talk) 10:31, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Skill & action game moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Skill & action game, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
