Our apologies...
[edit]...for the way you have been treated by HiLo. I think I speak on behalf of a majority of posters at ITN. I would ask you to overlook his offputting manner and try to stick with us. There is a lot more I could say, but I'll just note that I have asked HiLo to "chill" and at least withdraw his comments, and failing that, for an administrator to take a look at the situation. He has gone too far in this case, and I will make every effort to insure this does not happen again. What ever your decision, thanks for your input at ITN, and best wishes, always. - as an aside, wha t i do at ITN nom's is take the most recent format, copy+paste, then into the relevant date i edit it for the current nom. that was its easy. Also note: all labels dont need to be filled. Mainly the article, the blurb, the updater and if its updated (yes/no) and to help teh nom to add IF its ITNR or a minority topic. the nom's comments are optional, buit do sign it so ppl know who nom'd it.Lihaas (talk) 01:50, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Hoping you'll return soon
[edit]Hi Rhodes,
I was sorry to see at ITN that you're thinking of going. Let me say that I for one hope you'll be back soon. I've been impressed with your reasoning and good humor on more than one occasion, and I'd be sorry to see you disappear from Wikipedia. I get pretty fed up with the project from time to time, too (hence the "2", as I scrambled the password to the first Khazar account); for me the solution (after a long wikibreak) is to wander off from the meta/discussion areas and do some pure content creation for a while, which tends to be comparatively drama-free and relaxing. But whatever you decide, thanks for your contributions so far--I hope today's not the end of them! Khazar2 (talk) 04:03, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
Heya Rhodes! I noticed your comment at ITN. Does the article needs more references? If yes, then please give me a hint about the area of the article that needs improvement, so that I can start working on it. Thanking you in advance. Faizan 06:59, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
- Sure, I am fixing the refs. Faizan 15:27, 18 June 2014 (UTC)

New Challenge for Oceania and Australia
[edit]Hi, Wikipedia:WikiProject Oceania/The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Australia/The 5000 Challenge are up and running based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge which has currently produced over 2300 article improvements and creations. The Australia challenge would feed into the wider region one and potentially New Zealand could have a smaller challenge too. The main goal is content improvement, tackling stale old stubs and important content and improving sourcing/making more consistent but new articles are also welcome if sourced. I understand that this is a big goal for regular editors, especially being summertime where you are, but if you'd like to see large scale quality improvements happening for Oceania and Australia like The Africa Destubathon, which has produced over 1700 articles in 5 weeks, sign up on the page. The idea will be an ongoing national editathon/challenge for the region but fuelled by a series of contests to really get articles on every province and subject mass improved. The Africa contest scaled worldwide would naturally provide great benefits to Oceania countries, particularly Australia and attract new editors. I would like some support from existing editors here to get the Challenges off to a start with some articles to make doing a Destubathon worthwhile and potentially bring about hundreds of improvements in a few weeks through a contest! Cheers.♦ --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:12, 24 November 2016 (UTC)
