[edit]Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Push (2009 film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, ReverendBhindu. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:59, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
- You seem to have focused on promoting Jack Rourke quite a bit so far. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:00, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
Hi NinjaRobotPirate, thank you for your message. I read Mr. Rourke's book and I am researching his career as an admirer of his work. This is a fun project for me. I am not being paid. I am compiling data which I am documenting carefully. Based on the guidelines you shared I do not believe I have a conflict. I welcome feedback to ensure compliance. Thank you again. --ReverendBhindu (talk) 18:11, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
