  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.

Furthermore, I thought I'd also make you aware that, all Wikipedia articles about subjects related to India and Pakistan, 'broadly contrued are considered to be a "contentious topic" which means that editors must be careful to adhere to the policies of Wikipedia. ―"Ghost of Dan Gurney" (hihi) 11:02, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I have cited sources for all of the information I included in the page, except for the Personal Information section (which I have now removed).
1. All diplomatic appointments are pulled from the embassy pages for the specific post.
2. Additional information was from the EAM and ISIC japan sites.
Would you please let me know if any of these sources are considered contentious? Thank you! Researchmoreorless (talk) 11:11, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why do you keep moving it out of draftspace? It's obviously an incomplete article and the sourcing for a biographical article is not good enough. ―"Ghost of Dan Gurney" (hihi) 11:24, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry about that, I'll leave it in place at the draftspace till I can get to understand what the underlying issues are right now.
As per the sourcing, I have endeavoured to quote neutral sources (which are government biographies or news articles), not added enough original research, or put in any contentious material.
I have based the model on that of Escott Reid: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Escott_Reid
Thank you for taking the time to review and to educate me. Researchmoreorless (talk) 11:30, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
