June 2010

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Iranian Queer Organization. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Gobonobo T C 10:05, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: June 2010

[edit]

dear Gobonobo sorry, i just didn't know that i myself have to put the Articles for deletion notices code in the article. i added this code to the correct information on IRQO and edit it again.

Sincerely, Raham

Hi Raham. Could you please engage in discussion here or on the talk page for Iranian Queer Organization instead of reverting the article to a previous version? There are several problems with the version that you and other new editors (User:Degarbash, User:Irqo.pglo) have been promoting.
Your version removes the organization's founder, Arsham Parsi. The article is currently undergoing a deletion discussion and it's important that the references remain in place to establish the organization's notability. Sentences like The path to freedom outside of Iran is filled with unexpected problems. are unencyclopaedic and do not convey any meaningful information. I've added the board members to the infobox, since this seems to be something you wanted to include. Phone numbers and emails are not included on wikipedia articles. Also, Category:LGBT IRQO rights organizations is not a legitimate category. Thanks, Gobonobo T C 11:32, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Gobonobo
thanks for the directions. i will forward your points to chief of board of IRQO Mrs. Saghi Ghahraman. So they can edit it in the standard way and then we will edit it again.
Thanks. I see that Parsi has left the organization and have included that in the article as well. Gobonobo T C 11:51, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
thank you. i really appreciate your help and i am sure the board of IRQO will too. after Mr. Parsi left the IRQO there is lots of interfere happens in resources of IRQO. so the board is really care about changes in important resources like Wikipedia about the correct information. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Iranian Queer Organization has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://ketabkhane88.blogfa.com/. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Dear Legacypac,

you might flag this as non notable because you've probably searched 'JoopeA Foundation'. The word 'foundation' usually drops a lot of results from showing in search engine. I wonder if you could search 'JoopeA' again? The results will show the notability.

DYK for IranPride Day

[edit]

On 9 September 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article IranPride Day, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that despite homosexuality being punishable by death, Iranian LGBT activists celebrate IranPride Day (logo pictured) by secretly photographing themselves holding rainbow flags in Tehran? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/IranPride Day. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, IranPride Day), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi Cas Liber. I've took a look at statistics. I's very interesting. Thanks a lot for the info. Btw, the page was on the mainpage too couple of days ago. It was amazing :) Raham 10:19, 15 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Elham Malekpoor Arashlu

[edit]

Hi, I'm Rosguill. RahamRaf, thanks for creating Elham Malekpoor Arashlu!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. The article's subject may not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The best way to demonstrate notability is to provide citations to in-depth coverage in multiple reliable sources that are not affiliated with Elham Malekpoor Arashlu. Currently, all of the sources offering in-depth coverage of Elham appear to either have employed or published her.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.
