Hi, a few other clubs from this league have pages, including Dublin Rebels and South Dublin Panthers among others, some with fewer references for notability. I was hoping my page would qualify if those others did. Cheesyvibes (talk) 06:37, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

COI/NOTWEBHOST

Hi. While it's great that you have (seemingly) reviewed the WP:COI guidelines, and declared a connection, you may also want to re-read the policies and guidelines which confirm what Wikipedia is for and about. Including WP:NOTWEBHOST and WP:NOTSTATS. (It is not, for example, within project scope for Wikipedia to host/republish - in intricate detail - every match ever played by the sports club with which you have an association. If you're having a hard time separating your own goals [or the goals of the org with which you have declared associated] from the goals of Wikipedia, you may want to have another quick sconce at WP:COI. And/or WP:PLAINSIMPLECOI.)

Also, and while not to throw too much reading at you, you might want to take a quick look at WP:VER and WP:SYNTH. I suggest this as it was not at all clear why you added those rte.ie and facebook.com links? (As, as noted neither appeared to support the text they were placed alongside.) Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. Thanks for pointing out the citation issue, that was sloppily done by me, I'll work to clean that up.

For WP:NOTSTATS, I had read those prior to my changes and thought that it didn't enter that territory. Matches are the main thing a sports team does, so I felt they were relevant to add. I personally also wouldn't call what I added "intricate detail", so I do still feel they are worthy of inclusion in some form at least. Cheesyvibes (talk) 09:17, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
