User talk:RenéeMagaña
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, RenéeMagaña, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Norbert Klassen, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! —C.Fred (talk) 14:53, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
- Dear C.Fred
- the article on wikipedia for Norbert Klassen contains on th eone hand, wrong information on tthe other hand information that was taken from websites and pages on the internet associated with me. Norbert Klassen is a German performance artist, his etate and all rights to his person and work belong to the ART-Nachlassstiftung fuer Kunstschaffende in Bern.
- Though I understand the conflict of interest rules, i do not see how correcting incorrect information on the person of Norbert Klassen is a conflict of interest? Over twenty people have researched on the life of Norbert Klassen and we want to give a correct and accurate account of this information to the english speaking and german speaking people who are interested in work.
- can someone at least save the work i did this afternoon and tell me how i can edit the article then?
- sincerely

- When you have a conflict of interest, the recommended way to proceed is to request the changes on the talk page. Some of the issues with your edits were the use of peacock terms; others were just simple formatting issues. Nonetheless, the best way forward is to request changes at Talk:Norbert Klassen. I'll monitor that page to make sure they aren't stagnating. —C.Fred (talk) 15:11, 4 October 2015 (UTC)

could you please copy the deleted article to the page? RenéeMagaña (talk) 15:55, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what you mean by "deleted article", but the version you wrote can still be found via the page history. Please do not reinstate that content but discuss specific changes on the article's talk page as advised by C.Fred. Huon (talk) 16:17, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
