DYK submission

[edit]

Welcome on Wikipedia! I reviewed your submission of Enchanta to DYK, and noted that there are several problems: see T:TDYK#Enchanta. Best, Ucucha 03:04, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have commented there again. Ucucha 04:35, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for block evasion. Based on your contributions it appears that you are User:23prootie. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Nick-D (talk) 21:54, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I do not understand why this is happening. Have I not done wrong? I thought that Wikipedia is the free encyclopedia? Why this hostility? There is no basis in this claim and I am wrongly accused. I wish someone would give me a chance and allow me to continue improving articles. How can this happen to a new user.

Decline reason:

I just declined another of your unblock requests; how many of your accounts do you want unblocked? One account is enough for most editors. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:29, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

As a note to the reviewing admin, there's a SPI report on this editor at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/23prootie which explains the block. Nick-D (talk) 22:27, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{unblock|To FisherQueen, answer your question on how many, then the answer is one, this one, this the account I prefer, the only one so it would be clear. Anyway, the link that Nick-D provided shows that there is inconclusive evidence whether this block is justifiable so I do not get the reasoning behind it. Regardless of the injustice done to me, what is clear is that I have not done anything wrong. My contributions are valid and my intentions are such. There has been no vandalism. I seek that you trust me. The guilines state the following:

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
  • understand what you have been blocked for,
  • will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
  • will make useful contributions instead. (This last one I did already.)}}
The next reviewing admin may wish to review User talk:Buhay Tao, which is the other account where this editor is asking to be unblocked. Nick-D (talk) 23:03, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That user appears to be a victim of consequence rather than someone mischievous.--Reincarnata (talk) 23:09, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also User:JyrusTheGreat; he seems to be simply going down the list of his socks and asking for all of them to be unblocked. I think he thinks we're too stupid to notice that they're all the same person, and that makes me feel insulted and sad. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 23:15, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Actually... that's not mine.--Reincarnata (talk) 23:24, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The theory that "Buhay Tao = JyrusTheGreat" is not logically sound. How do you explain the gap in editing between January 11 and January 28 in the case of Buhay Tao. My theory is that they went on a vacation, somewhere in the Visayas, so connecting those two users is impossible. I suggest that you rethink that block against them because I only use one user account at a time.--Reincarnata (talk) 23:46, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Let me clarify, I do not use sockpuppets when I am using an active account. I do not believe I need to. My intention is not to vandalise but rather to improve articles based on a view that is my own. And while people disagree with me, time and time again, I have proven that that view is correct. But regardless, I am willing to behave and listen to my fellow users since none if us is perfect, and maybe, we may all need a second opinion. I have my spats in the past and I am sorry that I let it go out of hand. It was never my intention to harm anybody. It would be sad not to unblock me because all I really want is to be left at peace with the work.--Reincarnata (talk) 23:52, 6 February 2010 (UTC

Thanks for the admission of socking and block evasion. An examination of User:23prootie's talk page and block history demonstrates that they've been given a huge number of chances. This editor has also repeatedly promised to mend their ways when blocked, but has broken every one of these commitments, leading to what amounts to a community block. The fact that they're still trying to evade this block demonstrates their continued bad faith in my view. Further information on this editor and their block is at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Archive203#Ban on 23prootie. Nick-D (talk) 00:04, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's a little hard to believe the claim that this user does not use multiple accounts simultaneously, when he was requesting the unblocking of two different accounts as recently as an hour ago. Or maybe three. He says he isn't JyrusTheGreat, but it's hard to know whether to believe him, since he also indicated that he wasn't Buhay Tao. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 00:07, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that the comments above can clearly validate a claim that I could say that there are people here personally against me. To claim that a person should be blocked because they are blocked is circular reasoning. There are no more edit wars and there has yet to have proof on vandalism so this block is baseless. The reason for blocks is to prevent disruptive editing, which I have not done in my week-long stay here. With regards to Buhay Tao, you could tell that my editing and theirs do not overlap so there is no proof of multiple sockpuppetry in any single time. I am starting to believe that your people are only doing this to me because I could prove my views with hard evidence and you disapprove so you block me.--Reincarnata (talk) 00:29, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This constant discrimination is hard to bear maybe I should just...--Reincarnata (talk) 00:39, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, this has gone entirely far enough. Suicide threats? I've locked this talk page from further edits. You are banned. That means that the entire Wikipedia community has lost patience with dealing with you, and is not willing to deal with you any longer. You will not accomplish your goals, whatever they may be, at Wikipedia. You may keep creating accounts, which will all be blocked and locked like this one, which will be a waste of your life. Or you may stop, and find a new hobby. But your time as a Wikipedia editor is ended, and will not be returning. Accept it gracefully and move on with your life. Goodbye. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 00:43, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
