Orphaned non-free image File:PixelJoint logo.png
Thanks for uploading File:PixelJoint logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:57, 28 May 2022 (UTC)
Sneaking NFTs into articles
I did not "sneak an NFT into an article". I just wanted to use the fact that they are CC0 and can be freely used. I don't own any NFTs - in fact, I'd like them all to crash and burn. Beƻet (talk) 21:02, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Beƻet I apologise if I misread the situation. The pixel art article has had multiple NFT related issues in the recent past, so I assumed this was a continuation of those. Sorry for making the wrong assumption, seems like you were genuinely aiming to improve the page.
- I still don't think the image is appropiate because of its connection to opensea, but I shouldn't have aimed the criticism at you.
- Best wishes! ReffPixels (talk) 23:03, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
- No worries. I understand where you are coming from. I myself had to intervene multiple times when people were trying to sneak in their crypto or Web3 projects into articles. All the best. Beƻet (talk) 09:46, 2 September 2022 (UTC)
