Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, Redzebras! Thank you for your contributions. I am K6ka and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{help me}}
at the bottom of this page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
- Discover what's going on in the Wikimedia community
Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 01:24, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
- Hi @K6ka - could you help me out here. I'd like to add a reference to two pages. And I understand it can only be done in source mode. Where may I find the instructions on editing via source?
- I'd like to add this as a reference: https://www.ofca.gov.hk/en/consumer_focus/guide/safety/country_parks/coverage_survey/digital_map/index.html
- to these two pages:
- Hong Kong Trail
- Wilson Trail
- Thank you in advance. Redzebras (talk) 14:35, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- You can add references in VisualEditor, without having to go into source mode. See Help:Introduction to referencing with VisualEditor.
- If you still need to switch to source mode in VisualEditor, select the pencil icon in the top-right corner, then select Source editing (image and user guide). —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 01:04, 11 January 2023 (UTC)

Hi K6ka, I was wondering if you could assist me with creating a category under Visual Arts "Ink Art". I visited the related page and hit edit. However, there were very little text that was shown so I was wondering if it was the right page. Thank you. Redzebras (talk) 15:10, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Redzebras. What is the full name of the page you are trying to edit? —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 22:50, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- Hi K6ka, the page I am wishing to edit/create is a page Ink Art under Visual Arts. On the same level as Digital Art, Photography here: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Category:Visual_arts. Thank you for your assistance, Redzebras (talk) 04:34, 30 August 2017 (UTC)
- To create a category called "Ink art" under Category:Visual arts, create the page Category:Ink art with the following text in it:
[[Category:Visual arts]]
- Category:Visual arts should automatically update to show the new category you created (If it doesn't, try purging the page). Note that if I'm hearing you correctly, you want to create a category page, not an article. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 12:18, 30 August 2017 (UTC)
