Request reason:
Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. I am currently connecting from a corporate office network and simply want to add some info to Wikipedia. Sounds like the whole office/area/ISP would be blocked by this block. Redfox05 (talk) 21:43, 27 November 2017 (UTC)

Procedural decline only. You forgot to tell us your IP address so we can't investigate your claim. You can find this using WhatIsMyIP. If you don't wish to provide this publicly, you may use WP:UTRS. Yamla (talk) 22:30, 27 November 2017 (UTC)

{{unblock|reason=Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. I am currently connecting from a corporate office network. Forgot to include IP address: 69.10.131.5 Redfox05 (talk) 16:38, 7 February 2018 (UTC)} This IP address belongs to rackforce/teraGo. This is functioning as a proxy for you, and most addresses in that range host websites. You'll need to disable your use of the proxy if you wish to edit here, I'm afraid. --Yamla (talk) 16:41, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
Hi Yamla, If I understand correctly what you are suggesting, I don't think I can? I am just a normal office worker who has no power over how our network or internet works. And our office is pretty big, probably use the same internet network as the rest of the technology complex. It's not like it's a small startup which can easily change things. All I know is I connect to the office wifi, and use the internet, and its blocked on wikipedia. Im not using a proxy or anything on my end. Can I verify my account or something, so that regardless of a IP range block, you know my user account is legit? Redfox05 (talk) 21:19, 7 February 2018 (UTC)

Can't even remember what this block was about, but judging by the comments, it was something to do with IP. I'm no longer at the office with the shared ip, so let's see if this can now be unblocked. My current IP is 217.45.28.167 Redfox05 (talk) 15:09, 22 October 2019 (UTC)

I see no block on that IP address. If you are still unable to edit, you will need to provide an exact copy of the message that appears when you attempt to edit. 331dot (talk) 15:24, 22 October 2019 (UTC)

@331dot im not sure how this works, the IP I just gave is my current ISP, and editing seems to work fine. I dont even remember the previous IP block but thats fine, as that was a shared office IP, so nothing to do with me anyway, I dont use that office anymore. I just noticed all this stuff on my Talk page. So if im able to edit stuff, should I just delete all this stuff here on my talk page? It says not to remove things without permission or something. Not even sure how to reply to people here. 331dot like that maybe? Redfox05 (talk) 17:42, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
