Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Thomas Street Middle School requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Chunkylefunga

[edit]

Hey Newrunner769, thanks for reviewing the Scott Harvey article, thanks for the info, I now know how to reference properly. Chunkylefunga (talk) 00:39, 11 April 2015 (BST)

Hi. You just left me a message about this article: "Maybe include main pages only, or the pages about the tourney." I don't understand what you mean. Perhaps you could clarify what main pages you are referring to? Thanks. Relentlessly (talk) 21:26, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I am reffering to the part that you reffered to one person winning the tournament. I thought that was maybe a little bit of an opinion. I'm just saying, so it's up to you to remove it, or not. Newrunner769 (talk) 21:51, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You are quite right: a list of winners would be a very good thing to include, as well as some history of what is and isn't included. Unfortunately, I can't find a source for any of that information, even in the French article. Relentlessly (talk) 07:11, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Alarms & Clock (Windows)

I am working on the issues. I saved it to take a short break. I am back to work on it. Gagetony8 (talk) 22:25, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Newrunner769

Yeah the article needed a split badly, what also needs to be done is prose for the main article but for now at least it looks better. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 23:29, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Edmund Marion Ashe edits

[edit]

Thanks for your suggestions for the Edmund Marion Ashe article. I did a few edits and added a new source. It's still not the best it can be, but it's a work in progress. Mchuedem (talk) 15:30, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank for the review!

[edit]

Much appreciated. Happy editing! CesareAngelotti (talk) 18:31, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I declined the speedy deletion of Lūšna because (a) the article had enough context to indicate that the subject is a lake in Lithuania, and (b) WP:CSD#A7 does not apply to lakes. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 04:50, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Appreciate the comment on CRFU Cornwall Cup. Thank you. (talk) 20:58, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy tag

[edit]

While I think that an article in mainspace should meet the notability and other requirements immediately, that is not the current policy. I note that you tagged Mamanur ibinu adamu only six minutes after the first edit. I urge you to watch this and give it at least an hour to see if it can be improved before tagging it.--S Philbrick(Talk) 19:19, 18 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks on Co-benefits

[edit]

Thanks for the review of the Co-benefits of climate change mitigation. It's only a stub for now as I'm in the middle of a research project related to this very topic. Hopefully we'll be able to expand it significantly in a few months time when the research project is completed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AhlgrenTweets (talkcontribs) 21:31, 23 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wythy

[edit]

Hi! Wythy is the alternative name for Wythenshawe. It should redirect to Wythenshawe but I don't know how to do this. Thanks Wythy (talk) 16:54, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You tagged this as needing cleanup because "2077 hasn't happened yet", but did you not notice that the entire article is a blatant hoax? Please read the articles you're reviewing with Page Curation. Thanks. PamD 19:37, 9 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Newrunner769. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, from the Portals WikiProject...

[edit]

You are invited to join the effort to revitalize and improve the Portal system...

The Portals WikiProject was rebooted on April 17th, and is going strong. Fifty-nine editors have joined so far, with more joining daily.

We're having a blast, and excitement is high...

Our goal is to update, upgrade, and maintain portals.

In addition to working directly on portals, we are developing tools to make portals more dynamic (self-updating), and to make building and maintaining portals easier. We've finished two tools so far, with more to come. They are Template:Transclude lead excerpt and Template:Transclude random excerpt.

Discussions are underway about how to further upgrade portals, and what the portals of the future will be.

There are plenty of tasks (including WikiGnome tasks too).

With more to come.

We may even surprise ourselves and exceed all expectations. Who knows what we will be able to accomplish in what may become the biggest Wikicollaboration in years.

See ya at the WikiProject!

Sincerely,    — The Transhumanist   23:53, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Done; c/e done. Sorry for the late update Redexxes. Thanks for your work on this article; you've been credited in the archive as co-copy-editor for your help. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 00:51, 11 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much

[edit]

The RfC discussion to eliminate portals was closed May 12, with the statement "There exists a strong consensus against deleting or even deprecating portals at this time." This was made possible because you and others came to the rescue. Thank you for speaking up.

By the way, the current issue of the Signpost features an article with interviews about the RfC and the Portals WikiProject.

I'd also like to let you know that the Portals WikiProject is working hard to make sure your support of portals was not in vain. Toward that end, we have been working diligently to innovate portals, while building, updating, upgrading, and maintaining them. The project has grown to 80 members so far, and has become a beehive of activity.

Our two main goals at this time are to automate portals (in terms of refreshing, rotating, and selecting content), and to develop a one-page model in order to make obsolete and eliminate most of the 150,000 subpages from the portal namespace by migrating their functions to the portal base pages, using technologies such as selective transclusion. Please feel free to join in on any of the many threads of development at the WikiProject's talk page, or just stop by to see how we are doing. If you have any questions about portals or portal development, that is the best place to ask them.

If you would like to keep abreast of developments on portals, keep in mind that the project's members receive updates on their talk pages. The updates are also posted here, for your convenience.

Again, we can't thank you enough for your support of portals, and we hope to make you proud of your decision. Sincerely,    — The Transhumanist   18:09, 26 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

P.S.: if you reply to this message, please {{ping}} me. Thank you. -TT
