[edit]Hi RedHouse18!
I noticed you were a member of WikiProject Education, and thought you might be interested in WikiProject Homeschooling. In this "WikiProject," we have been together working on the collaboration of Homeschooling-related articles. As a member, I really hope you can join, and let me know if you need any help signing up or with anything else. If you have any questions about the project you can ask at the project's talk page. Cheers! RC-0722 communicator/kills 23:20, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Linda Darling-Hammond
[edit]Hi there - thanks for the note on the LDH article. I've been interested in getting some of her views up on her article and I'd be happy to help contribute to such a venture. Do you have a sandbox area set up to work on it, or were you planning on putting things in piecemeal? Darling-Hammond's representative, user:Barbaramckenna is very quick to revert things she find controversial so this would need to be done very carefully, but I think the overall result would be worth the work. Let me know how I can help! H0n0r (talk) 22:51, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Interview request
[edit]Dear RedHouse18, I am a graduate student of Information Studies at Aarhus University, Denmark, and I am working on my master's thesis which is about Wikipedia, more specifically the Wikipedia community and how the knowledge in Wikipedia is constructed. In my research I am - among other things - going to focus on the construction of academic knowledge in Wikipedia. Since you are a participant in the, Sociology WikiProject I would like to ask you if you would be willing to do an interview about the way you work with Wikipedia, how it integrates with your daily life, and what motivates you to contribute etc. Since I live in Denmark the interview will be held through skype or a corresponding service.
If you are interested or if you would like to know more about me/my thesis, feel free to contact me at anders@thorb.org or through my talk page.
I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Wiki Ed Sociology Handout -- Feedback welcome!
[edit]Hello, I'm with the Wiki Education Foundation, and we're developing a brochure for students interested in editing Wikipedia. We're hoping that students can use this brochure as a guide for quality contributions to Sociology-related articles. As an active sociology article editor, I was hoping you might have a look at the proposed text (you can find it here) and send any feedback my way. Ideally, this would occur by the end of the week. Thanks very much!

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Qumbya is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Qumbya until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Kelly hi! 11:57, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
