Testing

[edit]

I am a new user. I joined so I can help mass-distribute information to people. I started with anime because that is what I am most familiar with and I hope to make significant changes to false information or to just heighten the quality of the information on the site.RecklessFire 12:23, 17 May 2006 (UTC) on on using images, see the following pages:[reply]

Zatch Bell navigational system

[edit]
  • Instead of having to edit each article every time you make a change, why not just make a template? That way, you only have to edit one page, and it will reflect in all the Zatch Bell articles. Danny Lilithborne 00:29, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have no idea how to do it.I'm willing to learn though.RecklessFire 12:11, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's pretty simple. You make a new article with "Template:" in the namespace (ie. Template:Zatch Bell navigation). Then, in the article itself, just put {{Zatch Bell navigation}} where you would put the profile itself. Hope this helps. Danny Lilithborne 01:22, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, remember that the template MUST use the dub names. WhisperToMe 21:02, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FLCL

As a userbox fan of FLCL, would you be willing to vote for its nomination at Wikipedia's Article Improvement Drive? If elected, it will be the subject of a week-long overhaul, in an attempt to pass in to Featured Article status! Thanks, Litefantastic 16:35, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

About One Piece templates

[edit]

Can you discuss changes before enforcing them? See the One Piece main page. I'm not against the change, just that you didn't take the time to tell everyone what your plan is. I spent 2 -3 days talking about it when General was made... Everyone was happy in the end because I involved them. There were still some left who didn't like it (myself included because of size), but the fact everyone got involved made a difference.

Besides, if you did that and made a good enough discussion, I'd go around and put any template changes in place so you didn't have to spend hours doing that... I know those pages well. Angel Emfrbl 09:07, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The best place for discussing templates is on the One Piece main page... Failing that at least direct everyone to where the discussion is taking place. Even if no then turns up, its no biggy since you at least tried to include everyone.
Do I sound mad at you? I hope I am not, I'm actually thrilled to see someone else trying to work around that horrible big template general I created. Don't worry about not including everyone is talks, we all do that error. I think you'll find mine and another members opinions of templates on the mainpage discussion. I'm fine with any changes, so long as the greater number of editors support such changes. Basically, I like having one main navigation template as appose to lots of little ones... Just because there is a lot less confusion and it makes editing easier.
I'd rather see the template we have reduced, but that is my opinion, not everyone will agree with me. Can you wait a couple of days to see if others gather (I doubt they will since no one talks on any of the One Piece pages) into the discussion? If nothing comes about, then I don't see why you can't put changes in place with no problems. Plus it will give you more time to think about the templates you are making here and won't force any pressure on you. Angel Emfrbl 23:36, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ya did sound a little mad, but It's fine with me. I'll try that though. RecklessFire 01:20, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there

Hey. Your name reminded me of the theme song for S-CRY-Ed...My god that show is awesome... So how are you? KatxCore 16:59, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That was the idea. If you look at my user page it tells you that i made up this user-name while i was really into s-CRY-ed. I still like tho. And, uh, good. RecklessFire 15:02, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:WaveCCS2.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:WaveCCS2.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Osamu.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Osamu.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 20:19, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:One Piece Related Articles requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
