Timeline - Libya

[edit]

Please remember to remove the data from the main article, and summarize, when you copied off the timeline. Otherwise it would exist in two locations, and continue to evolve separately in two directions. 65.93.15.125 (talk) 06:01, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Libya Uprising Edits

[edit]

Better (idk if left-wing is POV or not tbh though, lol). :p Nice addition of the Jewish group, I spotted that on Jerusalem Post last night, but I am too lazy to add references. TheArchaeologist Say Herro 04:07, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Username concern

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. However, I noticed that your username (Rebel Alliance Coalition) may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it gives the impression that it represents a group rather than an individual. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account and use that for editing. Thank you. ~Amatulić (talk) 05:56, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Huh? Which group does it represent? Rebel Alliance? --Rebel Alliance Coalition (talk) 06:44, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It took me a few seconds at first to realise that Rebel Alliance was referring to Star Wars, you should probably answer that guy on his talk page. TheArchaeologist Say Herro 18:51, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I posted the message above because someone reported you on Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention with the objective of getting you blocked indefinitely (because usernames can't represent a group). Rather than blocking you, I gave you a chance to explain. I figured it was probably a Star Wars reference. ~Amatulić (talk) 03:49, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit war

[edit]

Hello. You appear to be involved in an edit war on 2011 Libyan uprising . While the three-revert rule is hard and fast, please be aware that you can be blocked for edit warring without making 3 reverts to an article in 24 hours. You are not entitled to 3 reverts and are expected to cooperatively engage other editors on talk pages rather than reverting their edits. Note that posting your thoughts on the talk page alone is not a license to continue reverting. You must reach consensus. Continued edit warring may cause you to be blocked. Toddst1 (talk) 01:09, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm ... note taken. Just one point, I reverted a factually incorrect insertion. --Rebel Alliance Coalition (talk) 01:14, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
