Information icon Hello, I'm AviationFreak. I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Rock Spring, Georgia—has been undone because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thank you. How is Nissin Brake able to be mentioned if my company is not also? RealTravisWalden (talk) 04:27, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Rock Spring, Georgia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. I listed that I am the Mayor. Which is accurate, up to date & true information. It promotes nothing. RealTravisWalden (talk) 15:33, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Rock Spring doesn't have a mayor. BilCat (talk) 17:23, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Even if you are Travis Walden (whoever he may be), an unincorporated bunch of folks cannot have a mayor; so something's bent as all get-out here. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:45, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly. But if we're wrong, you can cite a reliable published source that Rock Spring does have an elected mayor according to GA laws, and then we can include it with that source. BilCat (talk) 17:51, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
