Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia, and articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Fifty Shades of Grey. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use your sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write. Gsquaredxc (talk) 04:57, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Gsquaredxc Sorry, but I don't quite understand- that was not a joke edit, and the link to the article was incorrect. With all due respect, could you review the context of the edit? Thanks! ReadItAlready (talk) 05:00, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- Oops, transpositional error. Saw it and confused the first and second part of the link format for a second. Welcome to Wikipedia, and sorry for that! Gsquaredxc (talk) 05:09, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Gsquaredxc No problem and thank you! ReadItAlready (talk) 05:10, 25 May 2022 (UTC)

You've been unsubscribed from the Feedback Request Service
Hi ReadItAlready! You're receiving this notification because you were previously subscribed to the Feedback Request Service, but you haven't made any edits to the English Wikipedia in over six months.
In order to declutter the Feedback Request Service list, and to produce a greater chance of active users being randomly selected to receive invitations to contribute, you've been unsubscribed, along with all other users who have made no edits in six months.
You do not need to do anything about this - if you are happy to not receive Feedback Request Service messages, thank you very much for your contributions in the past, and this will be the last you hear from the service. If, however, you would like to resubscribe yourself, you can follow the below instructions to do so:
- Go to the Feedback Request Service page.
- Decide which categories are of interest to you, under the RfC and/or GA headings.
- Paste
{{Frs user|ReadItAlready|limit}}
underneath the relevant heading(s), where limit is the maximum number of requests you wish to receive for that category per month. - Publish the page.
If you've just come back after a wikibreak and are seeing this message, welcome back! You can follow the above instructions to re-activate your subscription. Likewise, if this is an alternate account, please consider subscribing your main account in much the same way.
Note that if you had a rename and left your old name subscribed to the FRS, you may be receiving this message on your new username's talk page still. If so, make sure your new account name is subscribed to the FRS, using the same procedure mentioned above.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on the Feedback Request Service talk page, or on the Feedback Request Service bot's operator's talk page. Thank you! Message delivered to you with love by Yapperbot :) | Is this wrong? Contact my bot operator. | Sent at 18:00, 24 July 2023 (UTC)

- Wow!! Thank you so much! It's really awesome to get that confirmation from someone else that my work on Wikipedia isn't pointless; I appreciate you taking the time to let me know! Happy editing! ReadItAlready (talk) 01:56, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
iPad Pro article
Thank you for suggesting the visual edit.
As for the Tandem OLED part, should we refer to it by the marketing name first then mention the underlying tech as from what I can tell, Apple didn’t invent tandem OLED. 174.95.92.108 (talk) 03:34, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
- To be completely honest, I can't find any info about Tandem OLED outside of the context of the new iPad Pro. Therefore, as far as I can tell, Apple did invent it. Could you provide a source for the origin of it? (Not trying to be accusatory - I just literally can't find any sources about it.) Either way, I think we should definitely include the underlying tech afterwards - that's a great idea. Would you like to make the edit or should I? ReadItAlready (talk) 03:42, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
- I’ll try and find it for you. I’ve made some more edits as I could. I’m going to bed after this so I’d appreciate if you edit it for us. 174.95.92.108 (talk) 03:53, 19 June 2024 (UTC)

- Perfect, thank you! I'll get to work on the editing; sleep well! ReadItAlready (talk) 03:58, 19 June 2024 (UTC)

A kitten for you!
I joined Wikipedia because of you. Normally I edit anonymously.
TotallyNotSkyNet (talk) 04:00, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hey! I've been mulling over a response for a couple of days, as you can tell, as I hoped to come up with some advice for editing, but unfortunately I just don't remember much from when I first started editing, as that would have to be years ago at this point. I guess "include edit summaries"? You already do that, though... In any case, I just wanted to express that, even if I don't have advice, I'm super happy that I was a part of you joining! Like, my day was made when I noticed the kitten :). I suppose what I'm getting at is that I, as an editor, am not perfect, but with enough people, Wikipedia can be much better, so knowing that I made an impact in the population is huge, at least to me. On a related note, I'd like to invite you to find your niche; at least in my experience, because of the size of Wikipedia, it's hard to be every "kind" of editor, so, (even if only to get started), I'd recommend trying out different "kinds" of editing. I enjoy being a part of the RCP, but if that's not for you, then maybe creating articles about a topic you like could be fun? (No matter how minor it may be! You could totally make a niche researcher's day.) If not, then searching articles about common things and trying to improve them could be entertaining (i.e., like what we did with the iPad Pro article). I could go on about this, and I also could go on about what you should research, but I'll leave it at the following: Be bold, but not reckless, and (especially if you plan to try out RCP) read up on the policies and guidelines (this is a good place to start, but I'd recommend setting aside some time to do a deep dive into anything that you don't fully understand/anything not listed in that page). All that being said, remember that Wikipedia editing shouldn't be a chore; I'm not trying to pressure you into doing something that you don't wish to do! If you don't want to learn about Wikipedia's inner workings, then please, don't feel obligated to. The editing you have already done/are already doing is just fine.
- I'm just now realizing how much I've written, and I apologize for making you read it all. I guess I did end up having some advice! No matter what, all that word vomit aside, have fun editing and thank you for the kitten. ReadItAlready (talk) 10:59, 23 June 2024 (UTC)
